The Biomedical Humanities Major

Four required core areas can be met by a variety of courses selected by the student with his or her advisor:

• The science and math courses needed for taking the entrance exams to medical or other professional schools.
• Ethics and interdisciplinary courses.
• Communication courses.
• Diversity and relationships courses.

Students also complete a clinical internship of 120 hours and a research internship of 120 hours.
